about our quartz worktops
Quartz is a manufactured compound of natural quartz set in a resin with added pigments. It is very hardwearing and is available in a wide range of colours. Because it’s manmade, quartz guarantees a uniform pattern and is slightly easier to maintain than granite. The finish is equally as beautiful as granite. Making your decision on colour and finish at tough one!
We template, supply and install top quality quartz worktops across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
As an authorised supplier of Cimstone, Novastone and Silestone Quartz. We have a huge selection of finishes at our fingertips. We’ve included some of our most popular options on this website. Advice on quartz care and maintenance
Unlike some natural equivalents, quartz surfaces are non-porous. They do not require sealing or waxing. However, quartz does still require care to keep it looking its very best for years to come.
Clean quartz worktops with warm water and a mild surface cleaner or antibacterial detergent using a soft cloth. Clean up any spills quickly. Rinse surfaces and dry using a soft cloth. Avoid using acidic cleaners, cutting directly on to your work surface or placing hot pans on it.
If you do have any tea or coffee stains, quartz will take stronger cleaning products. So, never be frightened to get in there with some bleach etc. As long as you wipe on, clean the stain, then wipe off immediately, you won’t have a problem.
